Hi, my name is Rasa and it means ‘morning dew’ in English. I have had the most incredible and greatest childhood, because my mother showed me early how much joy can bring simply creating things. When I was five years I was always drawing or reading. With my twin sister we also created a set of musical instruments made out of wood bark, nails and other unusual materials to play on with the other children. The time passed on and during high school I was an International Baccalaureate student. Then I learned to love sciences as well as arts and now I am a biology student who spends a lot of time creating stuff like brooches, earrings and accessories. And when my mind is full, I love to wander through the woods.
About my creations – it is all done and made with great love. My shop name ‘bitiite’ translated from latvian means ‘a bee’ which I associate with my business and never sitting at still. I have had no other education in arts other than my mother’s advice and encouragement.
